One time, at the local museum, they had a special event
Of animatronic dinosaurs. So, naturally, I went.
But the models were wildly distorted. They probably thought it was clever,
Exhibiting 90's movie monsters with no accuracy whatsoever.
I got ready to ask for a refund, and give them a piece of my mind
But then I walked back through the showroom and slowly began to find
This isn't what the palaeontologists really need to fear -
'cos the robots looked awesome regardless,
and I'm coming back next year.

But I reckon that makes it scarier.

Yes, people think that far and wide,
A comet wiped their clade from all the land.
But you may not realise the fact -
The species wasn’t completely jacked.
Just look at the three-toed footprints in the sand.
Yes, dinosaurs survive today,
In evolution’s noble way.
They changed their shape and lost some pointy bits.
So be aware of their disguise -
There’s something ancient in the eyes
Of the seagull that just stole your chips.

But that was a factual error by the writers of Jurassic Park III.
It looked more like a crocodile,
That laid ginormous eggs.
We always knew it hunted fish - We were wrong about the legs.
